As I grow up and move on, so does my little about me box. I am posting past descriptions as a way to see who I was and when.

1.2012
I'm a twenty something Los Angeles native, who after a few college years in San Francisco, has made my way to Japan. I started blogging about 1.5 years ago to update friends and family back home about my adventures, big and small, over here in Japan.

Across the Sea has become my journal, my scrapbook and my hobby. It has become my go to place to write and share all things that inspire and touch me. It has become a place where I write about my life, putting it all into perspective. Learning a little about the world and myself with every post.

Upon recently graduating from the University of San Francisco with a Masters in Teaching, I have been thrown into a jobless market here in the state of CA. So, in an effort to side step that land mine as well as delay growing up as long as possible, I applied to the JET (Japanese Exchange Teaching) Program and amazingly was accepted!

Come July 31, 2010 I will be moving to Kamagaya-shi, Chiba-ken, Japan. I will use this blog to update you on my adventures!
