Weekend Update

A few moments from this beautifully blue Super Bowl weekend. 

Highlights included...

A hike to the hidden Murphy Ranch Nazi Camp.

A long Saturday night dinner consisting of multiple courses, multiple glass of wine, and multiple lovely ladies at Hostaria Piave. Long Italian dinners are pretty much one of my favorite things in life.

Started Sunday early with Redondo's annual Super Bowl 5k/10k. 

Couldn't have asked for better weather.

Weekend Update

For the first time in a long time I had a weekend with zero concrete plans. 

Aside from the things I wanted to do, like, sleep-in, go to yoga and play outside, I had nowhere to be and no one to see. As the hours blended together in the best possible way, I managed to fit in lots of good food, a few True Detective episodes and a long walk in our gorgeous weekend weather.

A Friday night cookie emergency.

Beers and buffalo wings in support of a co-worker's 30th birthday.

The most incredible 1pm brunch at Fish Bar.

The Lobster Hash is unreal. Bloody Mary too.

Weekend Update

A little late, but...
spent this last weekend playing in the California winter sun. Worked in a hike to Griffith Observatory and as many outdoor meals as possible.

Highlights included...

A Friday night birthday party that brought together girls from soccer days, high school and college.

The best Vietnamese food from Gingergrass after our hike.

The view from Sunday brunch.

-4-

A birthday party at Medieval Times. 

We filled an entire school bus with beer and 20-somethings, headed back in time to watch jousting while we ate with our hands and drank out of massive mugs.

'twas a glorious evening.

Spent this past weekend up in San Francisco celebrating the engagement of a college friend. The weather was perfect and the weekend was full of laughter, stories and good food.  Couldn't have asked for anything more. Good friends are just good for the soul.

Weekend Update

highlights included...

1-a goodbye to our summer intern at work. 

2-both saturday and sunday were spent at Made in America. both days consisted of awesome live music, lots of beer and good friends. such a great way to bring the last long summer weekend to a close.

3-some of our super swank crew ended up on Time Out Los Angeles. 

4-monday consisted of a huge labor day bbq at my house with over 30 people, 2 dogs, a corn hole tournament, babies, and tons of food. and despite all that excitement, the only picture i took was of 12 week old Iggy. priorities.

Weekend Update

highlights included...

1-i escorted 22 of my nifty students to the color run at Dodger's Stadium on saturday. post run celebration commenced with a grilled cheese sandwich stuffed with mac n' cheese, bacon and avocado from the Grilled Cheese food truck. 

judge all you want, it was eyes-roll-back-in-your-head kinda good.

3-a weekend homemade pancake breakfast. 

4-cheering on team USA with snazzy nails and pizza to boot.
