Photo Challenge 2013

I have been itching to take more pictures, so I started looking at Photo Challenges via Pinterest and came across this one. I love that it sticks with the Valentine theme of February, but is silly and genuine all in one. I plan on starting this weekend and will update in a few days when I finish.

Day 21: Faceless Self Portrait
Jeans and t-shirt girl through and through.

Day 22: Hands
I could only take a picture of one, for obvious reasons.

Day 23: Sunflare
Sun on the tracks. 

Day 24: Animal
We have some cats lurking around our apartment,
but they weren't as cute as this guy on my desk.

Day 25: Something Pink
Sakura (cherry blossom) themed mugs in our local Starbucks.

Day 27: From a Distance
Tokyo Sky Tree. The tallest communications tower in the world.
80 days until its open to the public!

Day 28: Flowers
None in bloom yet, only these little guys in my apartment from
 my lovely friend and neighbor Olivia.

Day 29: Black and White
Snow on my jacket after a bike to work.

Day 30: Self Portrait
I was trying to figure out a way to liven up another self portrait.
Around the same time I leaned back in my chair to stretch, and chuckled.
This is the result of that.

This one was not as easy as I thought it would be.

This little orange marker smiles at me, from my desk, everyday.

I had to look up what it meant, but its basically
the aesthetic quality of the blur
in a photo.

30 Days of Photo Fun:The First 10

About a week ago, 10 days to be exact, I took on this challenge. I have had a great time trying to be as original as possible with my pictures, accomplishing the assigned task while adding my own unique touch. I have made it a point not to use any pre-saved photos on my phone. So, everyday I am taking a picture and acting as sole photographer.

Day 1: Self-Portrait

Well there weren't any, so I went with the other thing in the sky.
