US Embassy BBQ

Friday night, the US Embassy kindly invited the JETs in the surrounding Tokyo area over for a BBQ. About 30 JETs and 15 Embassy employees mingled, bonding over where in the US we were from and how long we have all been in Japan. Then we feasted on Mexican food (I couldn't have been happier!) with Coronas and margaritas, chips, salsa, AND guacamole. It was the best meal I have had in a long time. Dessert was complete with a "candy bar," full of candy brought back from the States.

It truly was a great time, thanks to everyone who hosted us!
